This student loves talking about her day and what she did over the weekend. She loves talking about things she enjoys, such as playing the violin.
She is currently working on past tense verbs like “was” and “were”. She made minor mistakes on the examples. It was tougher to tell the difference in the number of people or objects when the sentence wasn’t as clear as the earlier ones. She then read about children playing in the snow. She didn’t know the difference between a glove and a mitten, but the rest of the story was easier for her to understand and read.
The teacher went over the questions with her before she left. Finally, she was able to read a sentence and draw a picture to match it. This helps students visualize what they are reading and understand it better. She then created her own sentence and picture.
